Time for my first post/review! Yay : ) (spent so much time on the banner =__=) Anyways, this post is on a review of the current lip make up I use~ I love all three but for different reasons. Lets starto~! (below = pic spam :D)
[What they claim]
- Create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen
- Pigmented, very shiny and can impart subtle or dramatic color
-Contains Jojoba Oil to help soften and condition the lips
[What I think]
Pros: intense color, smells nice, smooth
Cons: very sticky, a pain to remove because the glitter is so hard to get off
Overall: This is more like a really saturated pink than a sheer pink. It looks nice if you don't use a heavy blush or eyeshadow.
[What they claim]
- Naturally creates the look of fuller, more voluptuous lips
- Imparts a luminous high shine with no sticky or tacky feeling
- Deep infusion of antioxidant vitamins A and E help keep lips soft, smooth, and protected, while tingly and cooling sensation reminds you that your lips are getting an immediate increase in fullness
[What I think]
Pros: Lip plumping, sheer, nice smell
Cons: still sticky (i guess all lip glosses are gonna be somewhat sticky)
Overall: I love the minty tingly feeling that plumps the lips and it does make them appear fuller (maybe it's just the shine). Great for everyday use for a natural glossy pale pink look.
[What they claim]
- Smooth feel of Smashbox's Photo Finish Foundation Primer has now been infused into a lipstick
- Lipstick is silkier, smoother, longer-wearing, and more moisture-rich than any you've tried before
[What I think]
Pros: Perfect at giving lips a natural nude color, not heavy
Cons: Doesn't go on smoothly (makes the lips seem chappy)
Overall: The nude color looks weird with some outfits because it does make the lips seem less noticeable. I don't normally wear lipstick either so I don't use it too often. It looks good if you put a gloss over it but then it feels and looks too heavy for the lips.
